Scheduling and Availability

Does Atlantic Exteriors do commercial paver work?

Yes. Atlantic Exteriors provides paver sealing and repair for commercial properties in addition to residential work. Commercial projects include storefronts, auto dealerships, HOA common areas, restaurant patios, and other business properties with paver surfaces. Call Derek at (321) 574-1140 to discuss your commercial project and scheduling requirements.

How far in advance should I book my paver service?

Derek recommends scheduling at least one to two weeks in advance, especially during Florida's drier months from October through May when demand is highest. For time-sensitive needs, call (321) 574-1140 directly, as openings sometimes become available on shorter notice due to weather rescheduling.

What time of year is best for paver sealing in Florida?

Paver sealing can be performed year-round in Florida, but the drier months between late fall and spring typically provide the most consistent conditions. Sealer needs a dry surface and adequate curing time without rain, so scheduling during extended dry stretches produces the most reliable results. Derek monitors weather forecasts closely and will adjust scheduling if conditions are not favorable.

Does Atlantic Exteriors work on weekends?

Atlantic Exteriors is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for standard scheduling. Weekend work is available on a case-by-case basis when a project requires it, such as commercial properties that need work completed outside of business hours. Call Derek at (321) 574-1140 to discuss scheduling for your specific situation.

Payment and Policies

What forms of payment does Atlantic Exteriors accept?

Atlantic Exteriors accepts cash, checks, and Zelle. Payment details and timing are discussed when Derek provides your quote, so there are no surprises on the day of service.

Is a deposit required before work begins?

For projects over $1,000, Derek requires a deposit to cover material costs before work is scheduled. The deposit amount and remaining balance are discussed when Derek provides your quote, so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Contact Derek as soon as possible if your plans change. Because Atlantic Exteriors is a smaller operation, advance notice helps keep the schedule running smoothly for all clients. Derek will work with you to find a new date that fits.

Preparing for Your Appointment

How should I prepare my property before the appointment?

Clear the paver area of furniture, potted plants, vehicles, and any items that would need to be moved before work can begin. Most paver sealing projects take 1 to 2 days to complete, and repair work may take up to 3 days depending on scope, so plan for the area to be inaccessible during that window. Derek will let you know during the quoting process exactly how long your project should take and if any additional preparation is needed.

How long before I can walk or drive on sealed pavers?

Sealed pavers typically need 24 to 48 hours of curing time before foot traffic and longer before vehicle traffic, depending on the product used and weather conditions. Derek provides specific curing instructions after every job, including when it is safe to resume normal use. Driving on sealed pavers too early can leave tire marks or compromise the finish.

What happens if it rains on the day of my scheduled service?

Derek monitors weather forecasts leading up to every scheduled job and will contact you in advance if conditions require rescheduling. Sealer cannot be applied to wet surfaces or when rain is expected during the curing window. Rescheduling for weather is at no cost and no penalty, as proper conditions are essential for a lasting result.

Maintenance and Follow-Up

How do I maintain my sealed pavers between resealing?

Regular sweeping or leaf blowing keeps debris from accumulating in joints, and occasional rinsing with a garden hose removes surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or high-pressure washing directly on the sealed surface, as both can degrade the sealer faster. Derek provides specific maintenance guidance after every project based on your surface type and exposure.

How will I know when it is time to reseal?

Most properly sealed paver surfaces in Florida hold up well for approximately 3 years before resealing is needed. Signs that it is time include noticeable fading, water no longer beading on the surface, or joint sand beginning to wash out again. Atlantic Exteriors includes a 6-month follow-up visit after every sealing project to check sealer performance and identify any early concerns.

Does Atlantic Exteriors offer resealing reminders or follow-up visits?

Yes. Every paver sealing project includes a 6-month follow-up visit where Derek returns to confirm the sealer is holding up and address any concerns. Atlantic Exteriors also tracks past clients and provides resealing reminders when your surface is approaching the recommended 3-year cycle, so you do not have to guess when it is time.

Licensing, Insurance, and Credentials

Is Atlantic Exteriors licensed and insured?

Yes. Atlantic Exteriors is a licensed and insured business operating in Brevard County, Florida. Derek Perreira has over 15 years of hands-on experience specializing in paver sealing and repair. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

Does Atlantic Exteriors offer a warranty or guarantee on paver sealing?

Atlantic Exteriors stands behind every project with a 6-month follow-up visit to confirm sealer performance. If an issue arises before the scheduled follow-up, Derek is typically back on site within a day to assess and address the concern. Sealer longevity depends on surface condition, sun exposure, and maintenance, which is why Derek provides honest guidance on what to expect for your specific installation.

Can I see photos or examples of past paver sealing work?

Yes. You can view recent project on Our Work page and our instagram profile. Atlantic Exteriors maintains before-and-after photos of completed paver sealing and repair projects across Brevard County.

"Atlantic Exteriors was a very pleasant surprise. Derek treated the weeds between the pavers first, power washed the entire patio going back over the really bad spots, put new sand down, and applied two coats of sealer.
